The 400A NACS Charging Cable is a high-performance direct current (DC) fast charging connector standard, formerly known as the Tesla charging connector. Since its implementation in 2012 and subsequent opening to other manufacturers in 2022, this connector has set industry benchmarks. Designed for 400-volt battery architectures, it is significantly more compact than other DC fast charging connectors. It is fully compatible with superchargers, currently supporting a rapid charge rate of up to 400kW.
Features a single button on the handle center. When depressed, it emits a UHF signal to command the vehicle to retract the latch or open the inlet door automatically.
Essential for charge point operators looking to serve new Ford and GM EVs. Enables conversion of CCS1 charger connectors to the NACS standard efficiently.
Supports up to 400A Tesla NACS connectivity, specifically engineered for high-demand supercharger stations.
