CHAdeMO is one of a selection of rapid charging standards created by a consortium of carmakers and industry bodies. The name stands for "Charge de Move." The goal is to provide a unified fast-charging vehicle standard for the automotive industry, serving as a powerful alternative to other standards like CCS.

The charging standard supports dual types of connectors for both slow and fast charging. The AC connector is typically used for residential or commercial areas where charging time is flexible, providing a maximum charging power of 27.7 kW with three-phase current, while one-phase provides up to 8 kW.
Sockets are engineered with safety insulation on pinheads to prevent accidental direct contact. This design ensures the highest level of safety during handling, protecting users from potential electric shock.
Long-term Reliability: Built with robust construction, this charging system is designed to ensure longevity, making it an excellent investment for EV owners. Its versatile current ratings and easy installation make it suitable for both residential and commercial applications.
Global Compatibility: As global charging connectors become increasingly standardized, this design ensures users can charge their vehicles without compatibility concerns.
